sir_isOanswered grow question 4 years ago Personally I think the plant should simply be as healthy as possible. This is not specifically about your plant there, coz you'd know it better than I would. But my personal principles.
When you harvest it, you're gonna put it in darkness, right?
If you flush it (while it's growing) and it doesn't have excess buildups, you're pretty much just gonna be depriving it (which would mostly quicken senescence and lower cellular activity, meaning it just "dies" quicker). If it has excess buildups, you should kinda have flushed/addressed that earlier. But, because a lot of people DO use excessive nutrients often, or have pretty obvious imbalances, that flushing can be useful (except imo kinda missing the point and a bit latent, as it automatically means the plant isn't in its best state).
And personally, I've found harvest time (like what time of day) to be utterly irrelevant. But hey, I don't have lab equipment and shit to actually confirm that. That's subjectively from experience.
Imo, the goal is to have the plant in the best health/state possible when harvested, because it's going to be active for some time. Preferably a fair while, slow dry with fair humidity and cool temps. That simple. Now, there are minor preference issues relating to that, but that's pretty much how I see it.
Cheers, enjoy...
