Does 72 hrs of darkness really increase the potency of the Trichomes/THC by up to 25%

Hi everyone! Can you give me your opinions on doing a dark period just before harvest? Some ppl do 72 hrs, some less and some none at all. Can I get your reasoning for the method you use? And any other helpful info on the subject would be greatly received!

Nothing you do can increase the potency of the THC in your plants, as this is entirely determined by genetics. The only thing that anyone can do, is to provide the best environment for your plants to grow in as this enables your plants to perform to their optimal level. I personally do not believe in stressing my plants, as this can have negative effects on your plants, and why people would keep their plants in total darkness after months of careful growing is bewildering. I prefer to harvest my plants very early after they get light, approx 2 hours of light, just enough to get there metabolism started in day mode. Hope this helps.

Ya, I’m with @ORGANOMAN I’ve heard of people doing this, but I’ve never thought to try it cause it just seems like another one of those myths that people think helps. I mean if you do it and you get awsome buds afterwards, great.... but if you
would have had her in 2-3 more days of intense light don’t you think it would look just as great, if not better? Lol but like I said, never tried it, but for sure it won’t boost THC levels by 25%, I would say it would stress it for sure and maybe in theory make it push more, but I’m guessing it will more then likely go the other way and slow down being confused with no light. Just my opinion though, maybe someone who actually does this can chime in? Lol Cheers💨

Why do my flowers grown in coconut fiber have no taste? it doesn't taste anything, but really.. the smell is brutal. I wash it for two weeks, I don�I have been working with plagron coconut for a year! I use a plagron power supply family. before this I grew it in the ground and I had flowers with a fabulous taste even before the healing cure.. my yield has increased since I planted in cocus, but the taste has decreased to 0.
