And when you bottle it for curing, simply don't close the jar entirely if you can't tend to it. Though do make sure it isn't too moist.

I say that, coz you can still dry it for around 10 days before the end of the month...and it's good to smoke then, if perhaps a little heady, or potentially a bit harsh (depending on how it grew). And with curing after drying at that stage, obviously the harshness isn't a concern.

If your going away take it now. That will give you time to dry and get it jarred and burped and have a little to bring away with you. Enjoy...Cheers
