No problem or mutation, these are called cotyledon leaves and are the first leaves all cannabis plants sprout, after these leaves the normal fingered leaves will grow out.

Crumpled new growth?I've noticed that there are new leaves towards the base of the plant that are growing strangely. Could this be from low humidity? I've been having a hard time keeping it up. Trying to narrow down cause of twisted/incomplete new growth with strange texture and discoloration of lower leaves.2 plants in 0.5L pots in BioBizz AllMix. Using tap water. Both have twisted/incomplete new growth with strange texture and discoloration on some lower leaves. Suspicion: 1. Very soft water-> CalMag deficiency. 2. Low humidity ~25-35%. 3 Need to pot up (planned to do it this week)
