Is it safe to increase light intensity? The seedlings are 12 days since popped out of soil and is currently at 50% power on a 500 watt+3% power light

Pal. At 450w. You shoulda be running at 25% for the 1st week. You shouldn't have to exceed 50% for your whole veg with such a high powered light. So I'd say she's at a right setting now.
No need to use more watts that's not needed.

NEED SOME ADVICE! Change to LED from HPS? which ones are good for tent size? Which ones are good for good yields?I've got a 4x4 tent with 8 seedlings in cups but will be in 11L pots.
Currently I had a 600w HPS light but my ballast busted today.
I have a back up CFL 150W not to mess up the light schedule.

6 weeks of veg? I got only 3Why do i see some auto or non auto diaries with 6 week of veg?
When i grew non auto i just had them 3 weeks then switch the light time and changed 400w to a 600w. I learned that because they used to get hella big. And in Auto seeds i switch the spectrum after 3 weeksWeek 7

How to manage grow light height with plants of different sizes?My grow light is suspended (offset from plants) about 10” from the canapy of my two LST’ed plants but only about 6” from my control plant (no LST). Everyone seems happy, and I am not noticing any burns or lack of growth (unless too close can stunt?). Should I rethink the setup?Week 4

Contemplating putting 2 plants outside. I have 8 in a 3x3 with Mars hydro tsw2000. It’s pretty tight in there. What do you guys think? Is 8 too many for the size and light? Or should I just leave them as is? I think the the pots are 3 possibly 5 gallon.Week 4

New update got my new grow light dialed in.. And the nutes helped a lot seen more growth in one day than I had in the last 23 days!
I am worried that if I place the light at the recommended height (6”) that would be too much so I’m running the lights at 50% power and at 12” awayWeek 6

Is it worth adding a LED 18w 2700k strip light for last few weeks of flower?Should I add this light for the last few weeks of flower? I have a Streetlight 18w LED strip see pics. what is correct light schedule for indoor germination and seedling, and then transplant outdoors?I plan to grow a photoperiod plant outdoors from spring to fall, but the germination and seedling stages will be done indoors. For the indoor part, can I use a setup with 18 hour light schedule? Or should it be 12 hours? I don't want to trigger flowering when I put it outside.Setup. Lighting

I found out after bumping the light up 40% Plants did not like.
Looked up manufactures suggested hanging / power. Seems I am over powered. The light is more 4x4 or 3x3 then 2x2

Light distance and when to top?I'm using a 300W LED. What distance should I keep the lights at now that I've transplanted and the plants are doing well? I'm thinking 24" and then move up as they grow until flipping. Also, when should I top? I've read that waiting for 6-8 nodes is the right way to go.6y ago

Is closer to the light much better?Is the light closer better? I have a VIPARSPECTRA 1000W LED Grow Light (10W LED ,x100) and it says during veg 18-26 and flowering distance at 18-24”.
