Growtent Humidity control

How do you control humidity/temp when using a grow tent? is it enough to put a dehumidifier in the same room as the tent and close the tent and just blow the air outside with a fan and tubing? Do u need an intake fan too? Or does the "good air" gets sucked in enough without ? THX

2 solutions : Low budget first crop, you just put the dehumidifier outside the tent and make sure that your air extraction can suck 3 times the volume of the tent in 1 min . High budget after first harvest, get a humidity controller and an intake fan, plug the intake fan and the dehumidifier on the controller and put the controller probe in the tent. Once the humidity reach the level setting, it will switch on automatically the dehumidifier and the fan.

As @inspireme said. I would recommend getting a carbon filter and a Rvk style of extractor fan. Have the fan and filter hung at the top of the tent/grow room, have your ducting running out of that area. Have the fan setup so it's sucking the air out the grow area, this will in turn be pulling cooler fresher air in. I have my fan connected to a speed controller that monitors my areas temp/humidity and adjusts the speed of the fan to keep it in range. The dehumidifier goes in my room the tent is in.

Gets sucked in without mate. I dont have one, my tent has negative pressure (tent walls are sucked in) meaning air is definitely being exchanged. I have my humidifier outside of my tent. It works less as it doesnt fluctuate as much as the tent. You'll be fine to have your dehumidifier outside the tent. Hope this helps 🙂

What I do in my 4×2 I have a 4 inch fan like a desk fan in one of the vent tubes. I have another 4 inch fan hanging in the upper corner blowing down on my light to help cool it. I have my tent in my spare room with air conditioning in the room and with my fan in the vent tube it controls my humidity
