exhaust or ventilation?

during "night time" I can only have one fan. I'm undecided on how the one fan can better serve me. exhaust or ventilation? which is more important during dark. I do have a dehumidifier btw. no ac but atm temps have been cooperating. cheers guys, thanx in advance

You'll need the exhaust fan, my friend, your Exhaust serves 3 purposes. 1) to cool the room 2) to lower humidity 3) to get fresh air If you turn the exhaust fan off when the lights are out, the humidity will rise, and the CO2 level will rise. Exhaust is über important, so probably that, however it is good to have airflow over your ladies, and doing so will also help prevent too much humidity and moisture on the plants, which will reduce your chances of any mildew or other unwanted issues.

I would keep the exhaust running, more temperature controle and it creates an airflow on it's own... Fresh air gets pulled in the tent and old warm air gets pushed out... a fan just moves the air around...

Hi!
What is your humidity during night?
If you have no troubles at night time humidity then you can choose which ever you want but keeping the exhaust on all the time is better IMO

Low humidity issueTents 20'' × 30''. Using a vivosun 6'' inline fan to exhaust with passive intake to create negative pressure. I have a good humidifier but even on full the rh doesnt go above 40%. Not unless the room the tent vents into becomes super humid as well.
