Pinning all your hopes on one seed is dangerous, not all seeds are meant to be and just don't make it.
At this stage, while companion planting is commendable, at this small size, your seedling is no doubt having a battle with the roots of the other plants, - other plants that will also out compete this tiny baby for water and nutrients. I would be VERY carefully trying to remove some of the closest plants to allow this seedling to get established properly, before allowing any companion plants to once again grow near the stem. Do not place a cover or any sort of "humidity dome" over the plant, this can cause more problems with humidity, damping off, stretched growth or even plain old cooking the plant. Your plant needs good air exchange to grow properly and a relatively low humidity so as not to cause disease at this young and crucial stage of life.
So, for the best chance to save this seedling, give it an easy path to root development by reducing the seedlings competition and keeping it moist but not wet.
In future, I would be looking to a soil mix with a lot more actual dirt and a lot less bark and rough chips, which just suck nutrients from the potting mix as they break down.
Giving your seedlings a dose of seaweed extract/tonic can really stimulate a good root system and be a great general health boost every 2-3 weeks all throughout your plants life. Just stop using it about 4 weeks before harvest, some people believe it can affect taste, although I have never noticed a difference if only stopping 10-14 days before harvest. A seaweed tonic will also protect your plant from extreme cold or extreme heat conditions too.
Hope this helps, Organoman.
