Your plant knows what it is doing. It will be fine.
Massaging the stem until it is soft is just causing damage.
Make sure your plant has good strong light or lots of sun and let nature take care of the rest.

Pidgeons420 on youtube has some cool techniques he uses for strengthening stems. He says he does it everyday by massaging the stem until it softens and then it repairs itself getting thicker and stronger and being able to uptake more nutes and water. Its interesting havent tried it yet tho.

Plant falling from the water weight.I sprayed it with water and the plant fell. In another plant in the same grow room I spotted an insect, I'm not sure what it is. Maybe its related.
I decided to put sticky traps and I will wait a little longer before watering. Solved it letting it to lean against a stick.

Damping off? Or just damaged?Are they damping off?
They were outdoor in the sun almost whole day. They got droopy and I thought it is because they haven't been in the sun each day and are not used to warmth.
The stems are rather thin and I burried the highers part in soil from the edges to keep them right.
