I've heard a lot of people use the term "run off"... What is "run off"? I assume it's waste water/feed?

Yes it’s just the excess water/nutes that come out the bottom of the pot. You can collect this and check the ph value and ppm. 👍

Run Off: When you water with enough of a volume of liquid to cause some liquid to run out of the bottom of the pot.
Not required with organics.

Declining soil level in pots - top them off?When I set up the pots for my outdoor grow I filled them about 1" below the top of the container. Since then, the soil mix has settled to the point where it is now about 4" below the rim of the pot. Do I need to be concerned? Should I be topping it off?Week 4

Watering when on Vacation away from grow / 3 daysI'm going to be away from my plants for 3 days.
Their last watering was the 27th' ( gave them one watering without nutrients)
They get thirsty on 3rd day/ drooping on 4th day.
If i give water today, they should be fine for 3 days?
