Mooncat has summed it up well, The smell will change over time, from flowering to the cured end product you'll notice quite a few aromas… What many newcomers (myself included) don't pay attention to are phenotype variations, meaning just because you and your brother come from the same mother and father doesn't mean you look exactly the same, you might resemble each other but everyone develops their own characteristics and traits, the same goes for plants grown from seeds… it's different with clones, as it's about preserving the genetics with the desired traits (like in your case strawberry smell/taste), plants from clones are 100% the mother genetics from which the cuttings were taken, but they still tend to adopt slightly individual traits, which can be overlooked… So in short, it can take 1000 seeds before you have the desired traits of a plant, then you need to be far enough along to conserve the genetics (mother plant) to be able to make clones from it… if you have questions feel free to write. Best regards

This is more nature than nurture. I'm sure extreme contexts might influence more, but any normal healthy plant is mostly about genetics. A breeder exaggerating or giving misleading information is nothing new. It's possible they call something 'strawberry' and has nothign to do with smell or taste of strawberries, lol... or 1 out of 10 will exhibit the aroma. Also, aroma does not always translate to flavor of smoke. Far too often commercial breeders are focusing on traits that don't necessarily results in good smoke, lol. It's all about what sells. What looks good in pictures is not necessarily the best way to select traits, but that's just my opinion. I'm trying some humboldt seed co seeds next year. They claim they try to match name and traits accurately. I can only hope that is true. their blueberry muffin didn't match the hype when i grew it a few years ago, but you can't assume things based on 1 strain of course. This is just my random guess -- selecting for these 'fancy' traits that are more superficial than relevant to smoking weed is stripping plants of relevant traits for quality smoke. Not unlike how roses lost their aroma due to near-sighted breeding practices. Hyper focus on specific traits can cause other traits to be lost in the process.

Totally normal, bro! Even if you treated all 3 the same, genetics still play a big role—each pheno can express different traits, including smell. The one that’s already giving off that fruity/floral vibe is probably just maturing a little faster or has a stronger terp profile. The other two might still develop more scent as they get deeper into flower. Some strains don’t really start pushing out their full aroma until late flower or even closer to harvest. Just keep an eye (or nose) on them—things can change fast over the next couple weeks!

Right now you’re still in veg, and plants don’t give off much aroma until they hit flower and start forming buds. You’ll likely only get that sweet, fruity-tea perfume once pistils and early flowers show up, usually around week 4–6 of bloom. Even then each plant’s unique phenotype can give you slightly different scents, so it’s normal if the other two never smell exactly like that first one. Just keep them healthy, wait for true flowering, and you’ll smell the full aroma.

Are you talking about Strawberry Cough? Of course, it won't smell 100% like strawberries, maybe close. But it will be even more intense during flowering. Do all your siblings look the same? 👻 Every strain has different phenotypes within it that may resemble each other or differ in some aspects. That's completely normal and not a mistake on your part or the environment; every seed is unique. By the way, great choice! 😘
