There isn’t much difference in technology in dehumidifiers honestly.. I have a “hisense” 50 pint for my 10x10 that can pull the humidity down to 35 easily when it’s full of plants. I used to think real low humidity in flower was best but I’d recommend checking out VPD charts. That’s the best way to find the sweet spot for your plants.

Pick a compressor style dehumidifier. I would get a smaller one so it spends more time running with fewer on/off cycles. Some models include a pump. They are great because they can pump water uphill and for a reasonable distance so you can run the drain hose out of the room, through a window or up into a sink. Or, you can buy a dehumidifier and also get a air conditioner condensate pump. They have a small tank, float switch and pump. You can run your dehumidifier drain into the condensate drain and let it pump the water out of the room. There isn't much difference in quality between consumer grade dehumidifiers. Friedrich might be better than many other brands. Still, I would not be surprised if you only get a few years use before it's time for a replacement.

I would just make sure you have the option to hook a drain hose up to the unit. They fill very fast in high humidity areas and then shut down when filled. With the hose attached you never need to worry about your humidity levels rising to high while you sleep or go to work... Cheers
