Size of Auto at end of Week 3

I know genetics is a big factor, but these are suppose to be Sativa dominant 70/30, and they seem to be so short, even the LST sprouts are only a couple inches. When do autos typically take-off and produce some distance between nodes or are these stunted?

I find mine take off around the 4 1/2 week mark. If you give them excess light they will keep the nodes tight. Best of luck the rest of the way.

You are seeing the ruderalis genes come thru and likely the reason she’s short and bushy like this. Ruderalis is what’s needed for the autoflower to be an autoflower- BUT it’s not just that one gene that comes thru in the plant - you’re going to see physical attributes like short bushy lateral growth from it because those are ruderalis traits that are showing up from it being part ruderalis. In my opinion this is definitely not stunted at all.. it’s just the roll of the dice with auto genetics.. she looks good to me tho. I don’t grow them anymore for these reasons, among others.. but around week 4-6 You should see some serious stretching of nodes and taking off in growth

I normally start to see my autos pick up in height about a week after I start to notice them throwing out pistols. You’ve really opens them up for light penetration- so once they get going I’m sure they’ll impress 🌱
