Before my head explodes I need some advice, Out of 5 pineapple one is a little seedling and the others only have taproots and nothing on the surface after a week. I added 3 auto lemons at this point but it looks like I'll only get 2 plants total. How much longer do I wait?

Hi, it’s exciting and stressful! I have a feeling you may have planted them too deep. Sometimes I’ll do a little uncovering just to check on them—- 99% of the time they are coming, I’m just being impatient. Also—- place a clear cup over the seedling to help keep the humidity up. Just give them time—- I’m sure you will get at least 4 if not more! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

Hey friend, normally these seeds should have been sprouted within 3-4 days. Check your temps, i recently made a mistake and planted seedlings in 37celsius inside the tent and they died inside the soil. Hope this helps, good luck!🌸

Make sure you plant your seeds with the pointy end up. Where the tap root exits the seed at the point end, you plant it up, then the root does a u turn and grows down while the seed head, heads toward the surface, pulling the shell off as it heads for the light.

I usually give it a total of two weeks before I give up and pop new seeds. Did you soak them? That helps get water inside the seed to help trigger germination. Even when soaking and using the paper towel method it can still take 7-10 days for a seedling to emerge. Make sure the area where the seed is moist but not saturated. They still need access to oxygen. Try to avoid touching the taproot, exposing it to direct light or the urge to go digging around looking for the seed. Best of luck 🌱
