Is it okay to germinate automatic seeds in a glass of water? Or should i get it out of the water and plant it directly in soil? I have placed thr seed in water several hours ago and just now i read on rqs that its better for automatic plants to germinate them in their end pot

Just wait for tap root then drop in a inch of soil and lightly cover it up. Or go ahead and drop it in soil. Either will work no benefit from one or the other. Just push one finger down to the first knuckle. Then drop seed. Then lightly cover it without packing down the soil. Lightly mist until damp and continue keeping most even if you have to spray 5 times a day. It will pop in 3-5 days. Goodluck. It's generally okay to germinate automatic seeds in water, but given the information you've come across from RQS (Royal Queen Seeds), they might be suggesting that germinating in the final pot could reduce stress during the transplanting process for autoflowers. If you've already started the germination process in water, it's fine to continue. However, if you haven't yet planted the seed and you have the option to do so directly in its final pot, it could be a good practice for autoflowers. Transplanting can be a bit more stressful for autoflowers compared to photoperiod plants, so minimizing handling can be beneficial. If your seed is already in water, proceed with care when transferring it to the soil to avoid damaging the delicate root. In the future, if you plan to germinate autoflower seeds, consider placing them directly into their final pots to avoid the need for transplantation later on. This can potentially lead to a smoother and less stressful growth process for autoflowers.

I do a glass of water 24 to 48 hours. Or until I see a tail sprout from it. Once I see the tap tail starting I then place it in moist substrate, and dome it In the grow room with light on for warmth. When the seed sinks, usually by poking at it after a few hours is when it will start really going. When I have had seeds not germinate this way. Which is few and far between. I believe the batch was just a crappy, and or a poor quality for that strain at that time. Seeds is a big money game. πŸ’°
