I am thinking of FIM or top for my seedling in a couple weeks. I see that some people have had great success with even multiple tops on autos. Always fun to experiment and break the rules! And if results don't work out as planned... just grow more! Good luck!

Check my OG Diesel Kush autoflower diary out. Lots of LST, topped 2 times, lots of defoliation. If it grows fast and big yes. If it's a small Genetics plant then no. Know your Genetics.

I really like the ponytail for autos also...just make sure you take it off during the light off. Really gets good light to those bottom branches and they grow out to the light alot faster than without doing it. And its very low stress for the plant so you can start early to get those bottom branches a good head start. That way you have more stem to work with and you can start doing your tie downs a little bit earlier with the added growth

Low stress training is the way to go. Start around week 4 and tie down highest branches to get an even canopy and let those bottom nodes get some good light and you will get some donkey kong buds even from your lower branches.

I’ve done it. And I agree- I’m not a fan. More often stunted then not I prefer to do LST and open them up to the light. I grow in soil, so it’s always slow going. But I’ve seen it successfully done in coco as the plants tend to grow much quicker and stronger. 🌱

Aye. It’s hard to say! I don’t do it any more because you never know the outcome until it’s too late! I’ve topped autoflowers with great success! And increased my yield! However, I’ve also topped them and totally stunted my yield, and the two mains grew extremely slow and short! So—- you never know the outcome until you do it!. Sorry for the ambiguous answer! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨
