Hello everyone, just curious since I'm getting 2 different answers online. When is the correct time to lollipop you plant, some said before Flowering but most I've seen says 2-3weeks into Flowering?

Personally I'd lollipop long before flowering. The longer you wait the more stressful it will be, as you'll be taking larger cuts off and more. Now if your growing photoperiods and you take clones, then waiting is better as you'll get clones out of the first few branches you lollipop and they'll be bigger. I try not to cause any stress in flowering except spreading the plant out a little ( slight LST ) or selective defoliation to expose bud sites. You don't want to cause stress in flowering because it will slow bud growth. Do all your training, defoliation, cloning in veg for the best harvest. Just my personal opinion

I was taught do it right before before flowering because the purpose of lollipoping is to focus the growth on the bud sites, why not start the process during all of flowering?? However I have seen it to be easier for first timers do it during flowering because it easier to see where the bud sites are and not accidentally cut too much off. In my opinion Nothing wrong with doing it in Veg or in Flowering, do whatever works for you. My suggestion For First timers will be to do it in Flowering so it will be easier to to see the bud sites and not have to worry about cutting too much off.
