Inherited Sativa plant?

Dudders
Duddersstarted grow question 3 years ago
Hi there, I've inherited a plant and I know nothing about it, other than it has been grown indoors, in the UK, for the last few months. Looks like Sativa. But not sure of strain. This is the progress. Does anybody have any advice here on in? Kind regards, Jason

Inside without a light is going to amount to it being a houseplant. Without fairly high intensity lighting (that window's can't provide), you most likely won't have any real harvest.

Get that soil dried out and don't water her too much. She's flowering so keep her in as much light as possible. And I'd give her a cheeky feed..maybe a top soil amendment if she's not had bottled nutes. Good luck bro!!

Thanks for your replies guys... I've no idea anything about it. I also don't know whether it's photoperiod or autoflowering. I don't have any grow equipment so I'm just going to try and grow it inside.

Unless it has VERY distinctive genetics, noone would be able to identify it I am afraid. By the looks of it, it is already flowering. If you are not sure if it is an auto or photoperiod, it would be safe to stick with 12/12 schedule. Autos are fine with 12/12, but if you wanted to force 18/6 on a flowering photoperiod, you could trigger revegging which would wreck the grow. The plant does not look any older that 1.5 - 2 months depending on the strain. Good luck!

Is that a clone of a photoperiod? Or is it an auto?

I think this is gonna be one of them big questions in life, unless one of the leaves grows out as a strain label. Was it bagseed? If so, that could be anything. It will be the best you ever smoked and you will have to spend the next 20 years trying to find it again šŸ¤£

Hi Jason, I think she's a sativa dominant hybrid not a pure sativa. It's really hard to guess the strain. Remember that the leaves, during preflowering and flowering, tend to take on a more sativa shape even in an indica hybrid. More chances to guess the strain after smoking it. This mystery is intriguing....
