Your diary, you do what you want. Put in as much or as little info as you want. The more info the better for when you have questions other growers can review your diary and make a more informed diagnosis to answer to your questions (if you have any).

A lot depends on your grow. If doing it right things should be stable and predictable so frequent notes and photos are not needed. If you are having a problem or you have chemistry jumping all over the place then more information can be helpful.

Help understanding PHI have big problems understanding my PH levels. I put in @5.5-5.8 PH (lowered with acetic acid) and the run-off is always too high, about 7-7.5 PH. I started testing my water / nutrients by intervals and nothing makes sense to me. Every test shows an increase in PH, up to 2.7 up?
