Example. I’m in 5 gallon pots with a soilless medium. I water until I see 20% run off. 5 gallon pot for me to get some runoff takes about 8 litres of water. The pot weighs a lot just after watering. I don’t water until it’s light when I pick it up. I also wait for the plant to drop a little. When I see droopy leaves plus a very light pot. It’s time to water again. It can take anywhere from 2-9 days until I water again. 2 days is a fully mature plant in flower and 9 days if it’s a new transplant into a 5 gallon pot. I see you water very little every day. It is not wrong to do so if it works for you. We all end up at the same result. It’s just we all have different processes. There’s no right wrong. Hope that helps friend 🤙

It’s all about environment coupled with your pot size for the most part. I would be going more for 5 gallon for autos if you don’t wanna be watering so often. Side note - Keep in mind, if you are having that quick of a dry out - you could be getting salt build up within the medium. Keep an eye on that and monitor run off. That was something I overlooked for a few grows and caused lock outs and nutrient issues. If you’re drying out quickly, lower your strength of feeds and make sure there’s appropriate run off. Salt build ups will lock nutes out and throw off pH and your plants will suffer. Just something i wish I would have realized earlier on. But if you’re not getting run off with feeds, sometimes you think the medium is fully saturated when in fact it is not.. Anyways, I digress - good luck!
