No those are calyx. The female seed making part. As you can see it has a teardrop shape and a white or red hair coming out the end. The male pollen sac will be oval with no point.

Keeping smells downSo how do you keep smells down? First flowering? - is it the right time? Also, 'claws' on the tip freshest leavesIs this a first flower on BPP? I have no idea when to start with Bloom/Topmax, is this the right moment for this plant?
