Your looking in the right area but what you ha e circled is not the preflower. Look between the stalk and the branch. Not on the side of the stalk. 😜

Yellow edge with brown spots on fan leavesI am wondering if anyone could help me figure out what is going on here. Upside down leaf growth?What is happening to this plant, it seems to be growing leaves upside down? It had nothing come out for a few days and then 2 new leaves started to grow out of it but it's like the top dark green side of the leaf is growing on the underside. Any ideas on what I should research?5y ago
