I don't like using a net, making the plants are more difficult to access. Instead I put a series of holes around the top of my pots and tie the branches to the rim of the pot. This way you can pick up a plant without disturbing the training.

Helps to spread the colas out and make training easier. I personally don't use one due to a rotating room. Have gotten around using one. Plus they trap you Plant in one spot after it is actually doing what it is made for. So in layman's terms you don't need it to grow, or grow heavy yields on plants. Good luck and happy growing 🌱

A Scrog (screen of green) is a training method used to manage the canopy of the plant(s). As a plant stem grows, you pull it to trellis net holes that are further away. This will cause the offshoots to receive increased light exposure and grow upwards with more uniformity. This results in an increased yield as lower bud sites receive greater light exposure. Usually, the apexical dominance of the cannabis plant means that the top cola of the plant receives more light. The primary purpose to shift the plant growth from being vertically dominant to horizontal. This means the plant will grow wider instead of taller which means they take up less vertical space (good for tent grows).
