Maskedcucumber
Maskedcucumberstarted grow question 3 years ago
Is it chlorosis, deficiencies, septoria, pythium ? calmag, iron, H2o2 or mycorrhizae needed ? What would you do to save the crop (preflowering stage) ? Thanks a lot for your help

Looks like you are magnesium deficient or your ph is boarder line to being out of range. Add cal mag to nutrition, I would up potassium and phosphorus levels going into flowering. Easy on nitrogen your plant is showing dark green and even looks shiny which is nitrogen toxicity. Nothing you have done has jeopardized your harvest yet. Just speed bumps. Doing good, few minor changes and back to killing itšŸ¤œšŸ¤› good luck and happy growing šŸŒ±

Hi there Maskedcucumber, if you're worried about the roots , it will be caused by the "ExtraRoots" additive. My best guess is that it is causing the issues you're seeing by promoting microbial growth. Usually you want to only use additives specially designed for hydro. So what you want to do is cut it out and replace it with something like fluvic acid and "Great White" which is a biological additive full of beneficial bacteria and the correct types of mycorrhiza to stabilise the tank biology. Fixing this problem will go quickly if you follow this guidance. Hope this helps ! šŸš€

I use canna aqua in a rdwc, but i also use enzymes extra for the roots. My solution color is red/brownish but her roots are always fresh white. I suggest adding enzymes like Ata zyme/ Plagron or canna. Never had root problems even if the water temp is like 25/30 degrees Celcius. Good luck growing man!

Roots look fine. Nutrients can stain them brown. The best way to see if you have root rot is to clean your hands thoroughly and then feel the roots. If they are slippery or slimy then you have root rot. But if not they are just stained.
