Hey guys, week 9 flower..and I've been patiently waiting for this plant to produce tht dank smell but so far it hasn't. It's has a vegetative smell. I press some of the lower buds with fingers and get a hint of dank. What should I do?

I have had very stealth smelling plants as well. I just dry slow and when I break up dry flower the smell is there, curing will also help. Once jarred it can greatly increase with time. Good luck and happy growing 🌱

Yeah not much to be done at this point. The lower temps applies to when you dry too. Some terps even evaporate off above like 70-75 when you’re drying I’ve read. You wanna save all the terps now that you got when you do harvest

Hello i am agree with thee_hoffguyy high temperatures can causes terpenes evaporation so it is the case try to have lower temperature. Secondly the genetic or strain can be like that and once you make a good curring the smell is coming so i hope for you the smell will come with it because you have beautiful buds. Hope it will help you brother. Good luck. Peace

Hope all is well Artyparty 🙏🏻 First off the buds look awesome great work! As far as that dank smell there could be a few different causes, how are you temps? High heat can cause terpenes and flavonoids to degrade, so if your temps are fairly high try lowering it, it should help. A couple other reasons could be as simple as genetics, I have personally had some plants barley give off a smell but once I harvested and started curing them the good ole stench would start showing up. Hopfully this helps you out and if not feel free to hit me up with any ?s you may have, if I can help I gladly will 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Happy Growing and Plentiful Harvests
