You should remove these sites just before flip or at least 2/3 weeks in. I think you would only stress the plant to remove them all now and personally i would leave them and just learn for your next grow.
Although you could remove if you wished, Only way to answer these questions is to advise what i would do.

Being that far into the flowering cycle I would leave it, when I end up with those small flowers I trim them up and use them for edibles or put them in with the dry-ice + bubble bags to use with the dab press.

I am concerned that my buds have a very faint odor (you have to almost touch the plant with your nose to smell it well).

How to reduce yield? (without reducing quality)Can I prune down to 3 or 4 colas? When? Or better to let it grow normally and compost the extra? I've found it too easy to grow way more than I can use.
