Light distance from canopy

My 4x8 tent has two 2000watt led lights in it .. what’s a good distance to keep my lights above the canopy ?

Seedling: 45~60cm
Vegetative: 40~50cm
Flower: 20~40cm

Wrong power cable in my LED light: still light when switched down off.Have you ever made this mistake? My second harvest was someway worst then my first. Sure I did some watering mistakes but during my chores in the room and in the tent, I found out. I used a random power cable on my PAR LED lamp so when It turned off still had some light on. Should i raise the lamp to force the strech?I had the light the past few weeks 30cm over the plant on 100% wich has 930ppfd in 20h duration it was all together 65 DLI.
I want to force the strech from now. Do you think i should raise the light up tp 50cm over the plant?

Light intensityMy plants have been looking sad for a couple weeks. Tried everything then the other night I turned my light down to 40% giving a DLI of 28 they perked right up with 24 hours. I have now put it up to 60% giving a DLI off 39 will this be ok or should I keep it low. Week 2 flower.
