Really depends on the heat your lights give up but you can probably go closer like 8 to 12 inches. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Well how big height wise is that tent you got they should say when you buy the light the spectrum and recomended distance ..my 300 watt LED mind you can be over the plant at 13" and she was fine so long as your hand ain't burning under the light with the plant you will be fine on that distance ..hope that helps cheers ..

There should be a recommended height in the manual that came with the light if not just check the website for the light happy growing!
