ph level at 7.5-8 after being filtered

PH level help please. Hi all. I've come to a problem. I'm doing hydro and the ph from my my tap is 8.5 and then when I filter it its still in the 8 range. Not meter, as I took out my ph strip test kit and the ph was in the the same color range of 7.5-8.0. Any advice is needed.

I wouldn't know about filters that correct the pH. They only reduce the ppm of the water. If you want to drop it in the right zone you'll need something else like pH Down or lemon juice. Beware that you'll need to monitor it for a couple days, because the pH will rise back.

I would get a better filter system. Brita only Reduces chlorine taste and odor, copper, mercury and cadmium. You can always ph down the water and give it a shot.

PH below 6 bad for plants potted in soil?The Hesi nutrient scheme is reducing the ph lvl of my water below 6 and am asking myself if it is really good to have such low PH for plants potted in soil. Can I briefly take my plants out of the tent without harming them?I, unfortunately, need to move my grow tent to make room for another one since it's overcrowded. I was wondering if it would be beneficial to plant it out into full ground by the end of this week. Weather is supposed to be 20+ °C by then. Are my buds further along than i tought?Mid Week 6 of flower.
I have stoped feeding and many of the pistils are turning brown, i was thinking i have 1.5 weeks till chop.
Could it be that harvest will be sooner ?

Humidity while drying Safe?currently on vacation for another 48 hours. My dry room has no climate control, but it is very stable.
As you can see in the charts, my temperature has risen from 15.8°+rh56.6 to 16.1c rh61.2 in 72h
If I continue to interpolate this, I ill end up at approx. 65%

Confused about trichomes, would love some expert eyes on harvest!Just did a mess of micro shots (Week 11). Really don't want to undershoot the harvest on my first grow! I wouldn't mind waiting until next Monday when my grow tent arrives, another 7 days. That's what I'm telling myself, would love expert opinions though!
