KingLED light 1000w enough?

I'm growing two autos in a 32"x32" tent. From what I've seen, the KingLED 1000w is sufficient for a 2'x2' tent but not for 4'x4'. A true 1000w would probably be ok but I know this brand is not really 1000w. Anyone with experience with this brand have advice?

The manufacturer (just look at the specs for your light) lists it's power consumption as 110 watts. I like 30-35 watts per square foot so that light would be good for one plant. Leave both switches "ON" and don't bother with just using the veg and flower spectrums. You need all the light you can get. And, auto's are on a fixed schedule so you want to give it as much energy as it can handle so it grows as big and strong as possible for a large yield. You do not need to run the light until the sprout emerges above ground. Leaving it off until then will save some electricity.

The lights are slightly misleading, that is not a 1000w light. It's probably sufficient for 1 plant in your space. Good luck

So yah it certainly is not 1000W. It will be sufficient, especially if you’re just getting your feet wet. Autos don’t need as much light intensity because they flower under 18hours so you don’t need as much intensity because it’s getting more light over its daily cycle. Look up DLI or daily light integral.. You’ll be good 👍🏼
