Hi quick question, Purchasing 50x50x100 tent Will the marshydro ts600 be ideal for this yes just shy of 2x2. Im aware the ts1000 is better and has dimmable option but wouldn't that be too powerful for my little 2x2 with a height if only 100cm? Will be from (marshydroled.co.uk)

I've grow a pretty big and decent yielding plant in a 2x2x4 with 2 TS10000 at the very top at 100%. It takes a lot of LST and a scrog net. You only have about 2 feet of space to use, you'd want to leave almost 20 inches to the canopy to the lights. You can use a 2x2 with a TS600. My buddy runs that right now and gets pretty impressive results for such a small light. I mean not more then an oz dry weight. But the plants come out beautifully and the buds are dam good quality. If you want to yield over an oz easily get a bigger light. If you don't mine small harvest then a TS600 will work. Also if you get good at LST and scrog, your yield will go up. My buddy is to lazy to scrog and doesn't fill his 2x2 up wall to wall with a canopy so he's wasting a lot of canopy space and cola production. You'd be surprised what people can grow once they Master what they are working with.

If you are not committed yet, save up your money and get a tent that is at least 1.8m/6 foot tall, the tent you are contemplating is really only suitable as a clone "nursery". A 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.8 would be a more suitable plant growing sized tent. Combined with a TS 1000 and your life as a grower will be much happier. If you are already awaiting the arrival of the 2 x 2, then the TS 600 would probably be better for that space and controlling heat, but I would still purchase a TS 1000 for being a better all round light, plus you will have a good light for your next tent. The TS 600 is only rated at 100 watts, barely enough, but the TS 1000 while only being rated at 150 watts, would provide superior results.

The bigger the light the better the ts 1000 will work well in a 2x2. Plants need strong light in flowering. If it was me I would be trying to fit there ts 2000 wide if I was going with Mars. I would definitely go for a light that is dimmable as it is much more flexible as well as saving you money. Since your tent is extremely low, there won't be much space between the light and your plants. Without a dimmer, there's nothing you can do if your plants get too close to the light.
