You could test the run off and see what ph was in the soil.

so i tested run off and they’re both right around 6.14 6.18 my soil reader must be off. i feel like it may be calcium deficiency but it’s weird they both started acting up at the exact same time

ok just tried that today. had plenty of runoff so i hope that will help. i’ve switched over to bloom nutes about 3 weeks ago when i switched to 12/12. hopefully the runoff trick will help. thanks for the advice

I would then add some bloom nutes to your watering. Water 6.2 till you get plenty of runoff that way your soil should get closer to desird ph range.

it could be but it’s been pretty high the whole time and i’ve giving 6.2 water the whole grow and they’ve been thriving. im not sure how to exactly lower the ph enough to make a difference

It could be that your out of the ph range at 7.7 you should be between 6 and 6.8 in soil.
