Cal-Mag deficiency?

Salokin
Salokinstarted grow question 2 years ago
My LSD-25 is showing a nutrient deficiency. The nutrient solution is at 900-950 ppm and ph is always between 6.0-6.3. I am already adding cal mag agent from canna as per vendors instructions to my reverse osmosis water and have added a bit more yesterday.

Hi! I would suggest you to take some leaves off so that your plants can breath better. Also i dont think you should raise up any nutrient, instead i would take a good lock in N toxicity. unless you are facing immobile nutrient deficiency like calcium, nutrients like N,P and K should start from old leaves from the botton of the plant as the plant can take it from old leaves to provide to the new ones. i hope it helps.

Thank you all for your answers, I will look at N toxicity, as the LSD Is apparently sensitive to it (as per fastbuds). Regarding the high ec/ppm the other two strains are doing perfectly well. I will however change my reservoir tonight and continue with a little less nutes. Let’s see if that’ll do the trick. I will continue however with the cal mag, as I am feeding reverse osmosis water with close to zero ppm.

Hey friend , on autos i never use callmag , not even when they seem to show that they need it . Its a trap ! They can get more then they need from the soil, in your case your ph is off as magnesium is best absorbed at 6.8 and is now locked out . Dont flush , that will make the medium even more unbalanced , just go on with a lower strength dose of your base nutrients , but cut out that callmag completely its not nescesary

I also think this is too high of an EC/PPM for autos. I think you have too high N and it’s locking calcium and possibly other things. Just cuz it’s showing calcium deficiency signs - does NOT mean you aren’t feeding enough Calcium. Too much of other things lock out others. That’s my 2 cents

I'm growing photos and my ec is not that high. Autos take less food than photos. Less is best in my books. Most autos in hydroponics max out at 600 to 650 ppm on the hanna scale. Most photos in hydroponics top out at 800 to 900.

most defiantly you need some cal-mag. kick up the P nutrients also when feeding and check your water Ph that its around 6.5-7.0 at the drain off if soil or the return reservoir if hydro

It's most like the need for phosphorus. Increase your p and k a little.
