Plants don't seem to wanna grow upwards.

Why does this stay short and not grow up to the light?. It's the 2nd one that's not grown upwards much been under same light all 3 wks of veg. Should I move it closer?.

They need sometimes time, sometimes genetics play trick ... Roll down that pot, she needs good air circulation ... All the Best !

@Chris42081 it is simply genetics at play mate the strain you are growing obviously has a shorter internodal spacing so it will remain squat in stature and probably will not stretch all that much either. these strains are actually really good for smaller grow areas or S>O>G (screen of green) style

No I would keep things as is. This is common with autoflowers. You have varying amounts of the ruderalis genes expressing themselves. If it has more of that trait it will stay short and stout. Just wait til flowering initiates and they will stretch considerably.

Give her time mate , It's just on 3rd week , genetics are different on every seed I've seen that this strain is Sativa dominant so will do stretch during flowering for sure . Also if lights are close to plants , that could be the cause , but mainly I do think it's just genetics and no reason to panic . If you have other plants in same tent(under same light ) and has no light burn issues - it's just genetics I'm having different plants (photoperiods) on every seed - even tho they are same strain and same seed bank If that's the only one - have a look at your light manufacturer and see how they recommend the hanging distance .
