If you can FIM with consistent results - go for it.
I have had trouble getting consistency from it. Sometimes I get 2 branches formed there, sometimes 4, sometimes 3 even.
So I always top plants - because I know exactly how it’s gonna react. I know ppl that can FIM with consistent results.. I just choose not to try and refine that skill set. I prefer working with topped plants.
Beyond that you just have to plan for the resulting growth.

I prefer to harm them without loosing grow time, yes, I still do lolipoping and clearing,, but in veg , defoliation, croping and SuperCroping is only harm, I love them too much maybe ;)
I have one technique to test still, but it's variation of FIMing, just when you cut part of leaves only to stunt grow, for other to catch up. There is plenty of other ways to ha smartly plant without loosing grow time ...

Ready to chop?Is this ready to chop down? Seems ready to me but I have no experience. Trichomes are white and and some are amber but pistils are not all curled (in fact some new ones appeared recenttly). The breeder says 56-63 days seed to weed, it is now on day 64.

Help me starting flushing today and found caterpillars and aphids what can I dooooo!!!!! :((((((((Help me I walked out side today and noticed a small piece of my bud rotten .Walked out few hours later and notice 3 more of the colas rotten on the top bust it open and find caterpillars and what looked to be aphid/eggs. I removed what I could find damaged. What can I do!

Roughly about week 3 of flower. Overall 8 weeks of growth and I always considered my plants the same in age as I grew them together. Now that we are deeper into flower the difference in the flower is apparent. Is this an age difference or just fenotype/strain

All trichomes are white, Can you lose terps by waiting too long to harvest? End of hard grow and want bigger buds.Am i safe to wait as long as it takes for some brown trichomes or does that not always happen? Right now, 99% white triches, what am i waiting for? Can this grow get any better at this point? Can you loose terpines by harvesting too l;ate? Can they get bigger?
