Small tent, how to make northern lights and amnesia haze work!?

Small tent with northern lights and amnesia haze. How to keep it tame? My plan was to LST with tie downs horizontally at 3 weeks using cord for both plants (once ready) because my mars hydro 600s hang low at the highest setting and my tent is 24x24x36. Any advice is welcome.

Hi kitty! First of all, I recommend you check the lamp layout and understand the ideal distance for your girls; with that, you'll already know how much LST you need to do. Start by anchoring the top from the 3rd week (at least 3 nodes, I suggest). When it has recovered and the apical top rises, start anchoring the side branches as well, trying to open the plant as much as possible for better airflow! Keep anchoring as it grows, shaping the form and consequently the height until about 21 days before flowering! I also recommend choosing your cultivars based on your space... indica cultivars would work better for you! I hope this helps you out 💚🌱

Your ladies will be OK. I use a old soldering iron or heat a nail in a flame and melt a series of holes around the top of the pot. Then you can train/tie your plants to the pot's rim. This makes it easy to move them around for inspection or to make them fit better in the tent. Low stress training will also make it easy to keep the height under control. You have two lights so the intensity should help keep them shorter and because your light is coming from such a broad area you won't have shadows and can get good yield from the entire tent area, instead of just in the center. Look at your tent setup. There are usually easy ways to get extra height. One of the biggest is to NOT have an exhaust fan and carbon filter at the top. Relocate it to outside the tent if you can. Another big thing is the hanging system for your light. Most lights use a series of cables coming together at one point which take up a lot of height. You can get the light higher if you support each corner directly up to the tent frame and get rid of the cables at an angle. You can also use pieces of wire, coat hanger or similar to make a more rigid system to hang the light higher.

They are autos, they shouldn't grow that tall to cause issues. Stick to your plan of LST and everything should be ok.
