Re-pot ?

Should I be re-potting my plants so the leaves are above pot rim? Lower leaves are growing “into” side of pot .. will they work there way upwards eventually ?

Hey there 👋 I’d skip the transplant and give her a bit more time. She’ll grow a little and she’ll clear the sides no problem. Once she does you can always top dress her, and cover up a bit more of her stem. Happy Growing 🌱

11L? that's more than enough for an autoflower. It does compact down as you water. It's a bit of feel. Better you don't smash it down at first. Get a good feel for filling and gently pressing to fill 4-6" at a time in a ~3gal / 10-12L pot. Rather it compact a bit over time than have it tougher for roots to drive though -- not that they can't drive through virtual cement, but why make it difficult. Re-potting autoflowers is bad due to potential transplant shock and an already condensed growing period. It'd be like re-potting during bloom of a photoperiod. You have plenty of pot, though.

I'd repot based on roots, if you think it is time. It is not optimal the leaf is like that, but just flop it over the sides as it gets bigger. Probably won't be long either way, so you shouldn't have to worry about any sort of growth from resting on the rim. It'll get taller for sure. If that's the final pot, it'll definitely rise about at some point. The apical meristem(trunk) will continue to grow and older internodal spacing increases slightly over time. In no time those branches will have to clear the same space to be relevant. That leaf will be 100% covered long before it's all said and done anyway. If it hasn't cleared and completely shaded later on, remove it for airflow.

Using an 11 gallon pot. Realizing now should have added much more soil before initially planting my seedlings. Know I know for next time. I’ve read to not re pot autos. Just wanted to see what you more knowledgeable folks had to say. Thanks! 😊

But yes if you dont want to repot then when the girl grows bigger you can just pluck the lowest leafs off because they are not getting light anyways in the end.

How big is that pot? Transplanting autos is always small risk 'cos if you are not careful it can stunt the growth for good with autos. It looks like it would be a good idea to transplant in to a bigger pot and fill the whole pot next time. Bigger pot = more root zone = Bigger plant! 👌🏿
