48 hours of darkness before flowering : How much time can you gain ?

My plants are pretty late (day 25) and I need to finish before end of april so I was wondering : if I put them in 48 hours of darkness just before 12/12, how many days can I gain on the flowering process ? I intend to speed them up by reducing light time gradually. Any other tip?

If you want them done as fast as possible give them 24/0 and then knock them down to 12/12. Build up the plant and help it mature as fast as possible. Then give it ideal flowering condition. 12/12 will make it flower as soon as it can but they need to be mature first. this will happen when you start to see pistils in veg, aka showing its sex. Good Luck!

the only way i have found to gain speed in flowering is to veg a plant for long so it has time to preflower that way you "can" reduce your flowering times but only certain strains will work with this method its alot of trial and error. as another grower has said these plants are far to young to be flowered you would end up with nothing in terms of bud like one or two spliffs if your lucky growing weed is a very time consuming task and the growers said guidlines in my experience may aswell be jiberish as each of us have different enviroments it takes a highly skilled grower to pull of say an auto flower from seed to harvest in 9 weeks yeah it sounds fancy is it a reality ? certainly not else everyone would be doing it. 👊

Indeed they are too young and sick. If I want to end around the 3rd week of april, I should put them in flowering on february 12th, I doubt they will be big enough, even for a sog

I would get them looking better before putting into flower. You will probably get small yield if you go now.

They ain't ready yet 😯 If it was me once lights out I'd set it 12/12 and leave it. When do plants have complete black outs in the wild 🤷‍♂️🏼
