ELECTRIC: Quiet and do not make noise when in operation, keep time/programming with battery backup, accurately holds time, multiple programs. "Not designed for 600w+ lights." Single unit device, https://www.amazon.ca/Digital-Programmable-CANAGROW-Electric-Grounded/dp/B07MC2MJG4/ Dual unit device. https://www.amazon.ca/Electronic-Programmable-Electric-Appliances-Programs/dp/B08D9RV3XN/ MECHANICAL: makes some noise while in operation, on power outage they stop recording time and do not accurately record time, will have to readjust every month by a few min. Some models can take high watt lights. https://www.amazon.ca/Century-Heavy-Mechanical-Timer-Grounded/dp/B00MVFF59S/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=sunblaster+timer&qid=1644762904&s=hi&sr=1-1

Sonoff mini managed with eWelink app its working for me. You just go to eWelink setup and set the switch to the last status in case the power fails https://sonoff.tech/product/diy-smart-switch/minir2/

Any cheap timer will do the job perfect, digital are more expensive and I've had trouble with them failing so I stick to the cheapest ones on the market, just don't drop them, they're quite brittle

You can get a cheap timer just about anywhere. I use the BN-LINK 8 Outlet Surge Protector with 7-Day Digital Timer (4 Outlets Timed, 4 Outlets Always On). Works great for my setup.
