During the summer, Basil will grow really fast on the sides of the pots, lots of good food, and also will keep aphids and other pests away.
I also use clovers or dichondra to cover the soil, like "alive" mulch, and after harvesting I recycle the soil and compost the "grass", much like alfalfa for example in crop rotation.
Any aromatics will work in a fantastic way.

Flip to flower delayed because of extension cord led light. Just a delay or problems ahead?After 1,5 weeks of 12/12h, I started to worry why the plant was not showing any signs of flowering and I decided to get in to the tent to check for any light leaks. YES: Extension cord's led was shining in the darkness.
Is this just a delay or am I going to face problems?3y ago
