Are the plants too small for 42 days?

Hey Growmie, From someone who grows autos all the time, yes these are quite small for 42 days old, it seems you've had a few issues. The thing about autos is you can't stress them out because they don't have time to recover, so the plant ends up stunted as yours are now. That doesn't mean they won't yield anything just means they won't yield much is all.

Hello, you have some issues here for sure. I can't name them all without knowing more but absolutely the #1 thing you need is more light. These are now growing out they are growing straight up. Amazon has very good deals on viper spectra brand LED you can spend less than 0 and get a quality panel to grow a few plants like other best of them. This will improve many things with the plant including nutrient/water consumption, photosynthesis etc. Everything your plant needs starts with light. You have soil, you have water, I'm sure you can somewhat control the environment and all you need is LIGHT! These will never develop without it. They are struggling to drink water and are overwhelmed without the light. You won't regret getting one. Several brands that are all fairly equivalent in today's market. A "1000" watt LED is actually only 100-150 watts at the wall max. That's all you will need here.
