Has anyone ever used Milorganite on their grow? I have used it on my lawn many years and it turns the lawn a beautiful green. The best part about Milorganite is if you pour a lot on your lawn it does not burn your lawn at all. I know some people use it in their vegetable beds.

The thing with lawn fert's is lawn is never intended to be eaten or smoked, so they can get away with higher levels of things like lead, zinc, mercury or pesticides, other chemicals ect ect..and no one cares as its lawn food, no ones gonna eat lawn right?? So dont use lawn food on food plants. ever. Like never ever.

I bet the North Koreans peasants poop in their pots (night soil) to fertilize their ganja. But, I'm quite certain that supreme leader's weed is grown with more balanced fertilizer. You can use almost anything. After all, it's called "weed" for a reason and Milorganite is 5-2-0 fertilizer. Not a "complete" fertilizer so you'll have to make up the other nutrients to create something more balanced. Keep in mind lawn fertilizer, especially for use in spring is heavy on nitrogen and not much else. You might find use for it during veg but you'll need to add other nutrients and then largely abandon it or dramatically reduce it's use during flower. In my mind a lot of extra work when you can inexpensively buy something much better. I personally do not have a desire to try "stuff". I can use the bulk fertilizer I get from the local fertilizer plant by the ton if I want to save some money. But, when there are so many purpose made fertilizers optimized for this/similar crop you have to ask why? Are you experimenting? Trying to save money?

I’d agree with organoman on that.. to each their own but that’s not my thing. Also, it appears to have no potassium so you’d be needing a supplement there as well as micros I’m assuming.
