a good testament to your formula is how consistently it works with multiple strains... some strains do require an esoteric mix, and, imho, that's only due to poor breeding practices passing on a retarded trait due to laziness to properly select plants that don't exhibit that nonsense.
i'm not sure what you reference in the pics.. but .. the purples are genetics and/or temperatures at night being a tad too low.
if you don't see any pollen sacs, no concern about it being a herm, obviously.
looks a little extra leafy -- could be genetics or just not enough light and the plant makes more leaves in that context too. -- easy to discern, typically. you know if it's strong light or not just from distance from lamp and experience.
some plants grow oddly... i tend to cull those, especially if any oddities in leaves... basically a 'diabetic' or similar plant in some cases where it just doesn't process stuff properly and it'll be a negative 99.9999% of the time. some oddities are no problem... i'd just rather plant extra, kill some spare ones and ensure a more robust crop.
