Autos really don't do that well outdoors, they are designed for indoors and an 18/6 light schedule.
I tried autos outdoors for a few years and they just don't perform, the best one I got was about 4 feet tall, the worst about 8 inches and the rest averaged between 1 and a half and 2 feet.
Yours isn't flowering, so don't get too stressed yet, it will still grow some more, but it ain't going to be a giant.
If you are in the northern hemisphere, there is still plenty of time to get another round or two of planting done, waiting until the end of May/beginning of June will give you the most daylight and the best potential for growing plants with a bit more size to them.
No plant is a fail, even if it is only a few grams, it is very satisfying harvesting something you grew with your own hands.
I found training them slowed them down and it seems autos grew best outdoors if left alone to do their own thing.
Hope this helps, Organoman.
