Harvest date?

Week 14 of flower. 4 x RQS shoguns. I’ve been flushing for 2 weeks in anticipation of harvest. Problem is, 2 plants keep sprouting pistils and not an amber trichome in sight. How much longer? How can I speed up the final push? Ice water? Darkness? Thanks in advance.

Honestly, some strains just keep producing pistils right up until the chop. If you don't have any amber trichomes, YOU may think she's ready but SHE'S saying she's not and I'm unclear why you would start the flush without seeing them! I would get her back on nutes, keep checking the trichomes and let HER tell YOU when she's going to be done. You're not running a diary on this grow so it's hard for me to give any advice beyond that! If they're autos, the amount of light will not matter to them... if they're photos, you can reduce the hours of light which MIGHT help. Good luck!

If they are photoperiod plants go to 11/13. If they are autos, reduce their lighting timee by 2 hours. This will signal the plants that "winter" is coming and to hurry up and finish.
