Zegr8answered grow question 4 years ago If you start feeding bloom nutes as soon as you see the first pistil you are going to have a quick harvest with a small plant. There are more than two phases in a plant life, after first pistils are out you have a stretch/bud setting phase, plants need lot of N during that time to build branches leaf and buds. Without N there is no plant.
As a rule I switch nutes when I see first tricomes on leafs, that means that the plant is ready to build flower’s mass for sure, that’s when you want to give more K!
