I tend to try and read the plants by checking the run off. Make sure your ph is in range. I kind of do what growinggrannie said. Feed then next time water then feed then water. Sometimes I'll feed then feed then water and Sometimes I'll feed, water then water. It's all to do with my runoff really. If ph or Ec are out depends on what I do next time they need watering.

not sure i m more experienced just thinking you don't feed one day and fast the next day, this would only cause stress imho so i apply the same to my plant, sligthly less feeding than what's recommended by the nutrient brand but every watering and in three years not noticed my plant being unhappy with me doing so π

Interesting to read HerbalEdu's comment here... I'd always been under the impression you should feed then water then feed then water, etc... I bow to a more experienced grower!

I mix everything all together each watering every 3-5 days or so depending strains and sometime phenotype.
Only thing is i use a slightly lowered custom schedule for biobizz along side with all mix, you can find my custom schedule germination weeks of my latest diairies if you're curious.

Res change or nothing to worry about?Hi, my ppm has risen from 172 to 212 in about 24hrs. Should I change res? Shes had lights on for about 2hrs and not perked up as much as I think she normally does by this point. Hydroton is obviously new. It was soaked. Could that be why?
