first, don't try to pick out a volume of water and give it to the plant -- if you go this waay, you'll have to observe until it reaches X-percent of initial mass to learn when to give same volume.. this is more difficult for no reason.
there are a ton of variables and nobody is going to be able to calculate anything accurate enough to give you specific instructions. it's much simple to simply observe and react...
So, you are in soil.. due to varying amounts of nutrients in any "1" soil product, you also need some trial and error as to how you ramp up fetilization to supplement what is lost from the soil... depending how how hot the soil is and when you start, you may be feeding 1/4 to 1/2 strength to stat... (also depends on how irrational the instructions potentially were.. e..g FF notoriously instructs an overdose, lol) ... if you keep using same products, you'll be to smoothly ramp up and avoid all issues. (assumes consistent, decent products...)
fertilize every 2nd or 3rd irrigation. more frequent may have a slightly lower concentation and probably have better results, if splitting hais, but barely discernable in this context. pick what is convenient for you.
when you irrigate, always give enough that you get 'some' unoff.... it's important teh whole volume is saturated in a fairly even way. a dry pocket that repeatedly dries up faster and therefore will have solid nutes unavailable to the plant is an opportunity for salt build up ove time -- fast or slow. had it been drunk by the plant, it wouldn't dissolve into the next irrigation + whteve might be in that water.
when you are feeding full stength and providing near 100% of what the plant needs through fertiization, start treating it like a soilless grow... get a religious 10-15% runoff and you will maintain a consistent;y fertile soil.... this will help you more quicly adjust your mix to properly feed the plant... one less variable wildly swinging around (substrate EC), salt buildup is nearly impossible to occur with any decent mix of nutes if you adhere to this method. feed every if aound 1.5EC or you can let it continue to ebb and flow a bit more with heavier feeds and more water-only irrigations between.
So, it will dictate how much you give, not a number choosen from the ether. To be consistent, feel teh weight of the pot.... if you water at the same weight, it will require teh same volume of water, give o taek. Rate of transpiration in plant and evaporation from soil will dictate this rate... it will speed up over time with more root mass. Use weight as the signal.... can't fail. will automatically keep you aligned with the rate of change.
