The Seeds Journal: Don't throw away good seeds - Give'em a poke to sink

Its says, "After a couple of hours, healthy and high-quality seeds will sink to the bottom. Any seeds that are floating should be discarded as they are bad" It would be good to add that surface tension and air bubbles forming on your seeds could make them float too

Hello. Most seeds are good. Even most of the floaty ones. I use one of those silk tea bags. cut a slit to remove the tea, sterilize, and put in the seeds. When you cut the slit make it so it will close and not let the seeds out. The silk sinks and all the seeds are surrounded by water. Chuck.

some seeds sink some seeds float but that has nothing with quality to do. The seeds will not sprout If they are old ore damaged. The most seeds will sprout anyway 🙂
