Advice on defoliation/LST - getting too chaotic hereIs it fine to cut off some of the big fan leaves this early or should i just tie them down to expose the tops to more light? 5 gallon pot, in middle of 4th week veg, roots already starting to come out the bottom drain holes! Should I be worried about binding? I thought 5 gal would be more than enough for the whole grow? What happens if too much root comes out the drain hole, do I clip it back?Week 3

Got my Bluelab EC/ppm meter in today! Once I had it calibrated I decided to test my tap water. It came out to 420ppm, I shit you not... God wants me to grow pot! Personally, I keep doing this and think I have positive results by creating multiple branches with equal distance to each other. (I pluck one stem then leave the next and go on like this.)

Defoliate?Is it too late to give these girls a hair cut? I’ve heard you don’t want to do this in flower stage as it may shock the plant and eliminate necessary mobile nutrients stored in leaves. Also does anyone have tips on an easy way to do this with a scrog net or should I remove it ?
